How does CFS distinguish itself from all other order fulfillment and distribution services?
Our fees are structured so that our clients can easily determine their cost per unit for order fulfillment and distribution. There are no surprises, unexpected fees or charges at the end of the billing cycle. Our client's bottom line is known at the outset.
Are there any types of media that CFS will not distribute or handle order fulfillment for?
Our aim is to help writers and filmmakers share their independent thoughts, visions and ideas with the world. However, we do strive to distribute media that we have a special interest in and believe in. We reserve the right to decide whether your mission and goals for your publications meet with our company's philosophy and high standards.
What methods does CFS use for shipping?
Our company utilizes all major vendors for shipping. Primarily, we ship orders via USPS or UPS. In all cases, we utilize whatever shipping method will allow our clients to maximize their profits while providing prompt delivery.
What are the options for money processing?
Our clients choose one of two methods of payment processing. Clients can provide CFS with their own credit card terminal programmed to electronically transmit funds directly into their merchant account. CFS will deposit check receipts and money orders directly into your bank account by mail.
As an alternative, our clients can have their webmaster set up a Pay Pal account to manage credit card payments, money orders and checks.
How does CFS receive my customer's orders for my products?
Your webmaster can set up an order form that will electronically transmit your customer's order to CFS for processing and fulfillment. If you have opted for Pay Pal management of payments, this can be set up on your order form as well by your webmaster. We also accept telephone orders, fax orders and mail orders. Depending on your expected volume of sales, you may require your own dedicated telephone line installed at CFS for phone orders.
Does your company provide service for pro-forma invoices and purchase orders?
We have the expertise in handling purchase orders and pro-forma invoices for our clients. The advantage to being a smaller order fulfillment company is that we can "custom" tailor our services to meet your needs.
Will my product be warehoused on the premises of CFS?
Products will be stored in our new on premises warehouse/office space completed in March 2007. We now have space available for our client's growth potential of their products. We seek clients whose products have been well marketed and will actively sell. Certain inventory items with low usage may be stored at our offsite warehouse location.
I do not currently have a website for my book, video/DVD or media product? Is it necessary?
In some circumstances, we can feature your product on the CFS website with an order form for customers. However, it is an advantage to have your own website for your product so that more information about your product, it's author, filmmaker or producer can be highlighted and detailed for the world to see. Your own website will serve as a good marketing tool.
What wholesale distribution services does CFS offer?
With the construction of our new warehouse space, our wholesale distribution fees have been redesigned to offer fair and competitive wholesale shipping rates. CFS will pick, pack and ship worldwide, include packing slips, provide inventory management, returns service, shipment tracking to trade accounts, retail bookstores, libraries, independent bookstores, educational institutions and other organizations.
How do we get started with CFS and what do I need to do on my end to begin order fulfillment and distribution of my media?
Once you have a signed agreement with CFS we can provide a checklist to assist you with the necessary steps to begin the order fulfillment process and distribution of your books, dvds/videos or other media. We will work along with you to ensure a smooth business relationship.
Does Cornerstone Fulfillment Service market, proofread, ghostwrite or edit books and films?
We leave these services to book coaches, literary agents, book marketing companies, film editors, film producers and consultants who can optimize the success and sales of your media. We can suggest some business associates that may be able to help you bring your product from concept to reality. All products come to CFS ready to be distributed to individual customers, trade accounts, educational institutions, wholesale book markets, independent bookstores, libraries and other organizations.
Does your company handle printing or media replication?
Our specialty lies in providing outstanding customer service, order fulfillment and distribution. Therefore, we like to concentrate on what we do best and leave printing and media replication to companies that have expertise in that field. We have business associates in the printing and media replication field that we may be able to recommend.
Do you handle order fulfillment for other types of products other than books, DVDs/videos, journals, consumer literature?
